When bacteria grow in the bladder, the ensuing infection generally causes symptoms like a burning feeling during voiding, overpowering pressure, frequent but minuscule urinations, incontinence, bloody pee, and pelvic discomfort. Bacteria enter the bladder in 3 first ways : when feces are spread to the bladder opening ( like wiping from back to front after toileting ), when the tube leading to the bladder is irritated or bruised ( as from use of a diaphragm, pelvic surgery, or extended / powerful vaginal penetration ), or when there's an in-dwelling catheter.
The thinning and shrinking of reproductive and bladder tissues which will happen in the post- menopausal years makes a contribution to bladder infections in older ladies, as does lessening of vaginal acidity. Occasionally tiny ulcerations appear in the wall of the bladder, this is known as interstitial cystitis ( IC ). Engage the Energy Flow, flow, flow. Head off that bladder infection by drinking a tumbler of water hourly as fast as you're feeling the 1st pressure or burning.
